Service Instructions
Your Shimano Reel is designed to provide years of reliable service when properly maintained. In order to keep your reel in tip-top condition, it is recommended that they be professionally cleaned and lubricated, at least once a year, by a Shimano approved Service Centre.

I wish to say the following …WOW!

On finding a problem with my Shimano 6000B reel, which had been given to me as a gift, I posted it off to Felindre, on Monday at 3PM for warranty repair, at 10.10AM on the Wednesday of the same week! the delivery man was knocking at my door returning my now fully functioning reel! this is some service Felindre!

I had heard that the service you had on offer was first class and having got my two reels back today and felt the difference in having them professionally serviced has only gone to show me that this was money very well spent. On the subject of the cost I am astounded at how little it has cost me to get two quality reels quality serviced.

Hi,

I sent my aging Shimano match reel to you on Tuesday, your engineer called to discuss the fault on Wednesday and I got the reel back at lunchtime on Thursday - just in time to taking it chubbing on Friday! I cannot think how you could improve on this service - it is simply exemplary, and you should be teaching others the true meaning of "customer care" - absolutely brilliant.

Dear Felindre Servicing,

I sent a Shimano 10000 XTE reel to Felindre Servicing having found the web page on Shimano's website. I was a bit dubious at first, because Felindre was a unknown quantity to me having never heard of them. But if Shimano recommend them, then they have got to be good. And boy oh boy they are certainly very, very good. The reel was suffering from a bent main shaft, and the drag not working as it should.

The next day I have a phone call from a lovely guy at Felindre who asked me if the reel had been dropped. I had no idea what the history of the reel was. Felindre told me that it had been dropped which was the cause of the noise. The worm drive had been forced down into the reel. So the reel had a new main shaft, new worm drive, new drag clutches, new spring and a new cap on the spool + full service and grease up.

The next day the reel arrived back home and I could not believe it - it was like a brand new reel, no noise, very smooth, perfect line lay and superbly working. This guy as far as I'm concerned is an absolute magician. Another bonus is the bill is very, very reasonable. I have since had two more reels serviced there with another two perfect results. I will now not use anyone else for reel service/repair. Felindre are quality engineers, reasonably priced, superb service, and a 48-hour turnaround home to home.

You cannot get better than that. You guys at Felindre have my sincere thanks and my custom for life. My family and friends will also hear of your great service and no doubt they will be using you too.

Hi to all at felindre

I would just like to say a very big thank you to all. I sent my Super Baitrunner 10000 XTE on 7th December and it was fixed and sent back to me on 10th December.

All I can say is that I am very pleased with the prompt servicing and return of my reel, I would also like to point out that I will be letting every one of my friends know as they all have Shimano reels.

I have recently had my reel repaired and sent back to me in three working days with no charge. Well done! Service at its very best. I work in a large factory, which has a lot anglers it, you can be sure they now know about the kind of service they can expect when they buy Shimano.

Dear Felindre Servicing,

I ordered a replacement section for my Shimano Ultegra Heavy Feeder (Broken on a huge (landed) Carp) at lunchtime on 5th June 2006. It arrived by recorded delivery at 08:01 on 6th June 2006.

What can I say?. Astounding service! And it was recorded delivery - which I didn't expect. No wonder you have been voted the "Best Coarse Manufacturers After Sales Service" for four consecutive years. Hope this is the Fifth.

As our Roman (Latin) friends would say "VOTIS V MVLTIS X".
(Rough translation - "Thanks for five, how about ten?")
